Inaugural Address
Shri Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Honourable IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Energy Department, Govt. of Telangana inaugurated the conference, announcing the state’s ambitious plan to achieve 20,000 MW of renewable energy by 2030 and 40,000 MW by 2040. He emphasized the importance of green energy in reducing pollution and fossil fuel dependency, highlighting the need for grid stability and the development of affordable energy storage technologies. Other dignitaries present on the dias are H. E Mr Gareth Owyen, British Deputy High Commissioner, Professor G Venkat Narasimha Reddy, Principal, JNTUH, Dr Suresh Kumar Singhal, President, Federation of Telangana Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
